In our vision of “paradise” kids collapse into bed at the end of the day, worn out by activity and fresh air. Parents sip cocktails and relax around campfires. Grandparents plan tomorrow’s fishing lesson and share stories from summers past. Friends become family.
Of course sometimes it rains, work calls, or your four-year-old gets the flu. That’s what the WiFi’s for.
Lakeside Recreation
Arguably the best amenity of all, Summit Lake offers endless recreation opportunities and we’ve got the infrastructure to help you access them all! Docks for swimming, diving, and mooring your boats. Beaches dedicated to humans, dogs, and boat launches. Canoes, kayaks (for kids and adults), paddle boats, “tinners”, and stand up paddle boards for rent. A well-stocked rainbow trout population and a shack to clean your catch in!

Pet-Friendly
Camp Valhalla is a place to reconnect with nature and each other. It’s also a place to play, no matter your age. Large open playgrounds cater to the young and young-at-heart. Hiking, biking, and ATV trails are easily accessible, with enough variety to suit diverse skill levels. Oh – and in an effort to groom the next generation of mountain bikers, we built a kids’ pump track!
If you count your furry friends as family members, we’ve got them covered too, with off-leash trails and a dog beach. All sites are pet-friendly.
Fresh, Clean Washrooms
We’re all for summer-camp nostalgia, but let’s leave the outhouse horror-stories behind us. Our newly-renovated washrooms are modern, clean, and comfortable (that means running water and flush toilets!) Hot showers and laundry facilities can be accessed with a small fee.

Need ice cream cones to leverage as bribery? The camp store is stocked with ice cream, ice, firewood and fun Camp Valhalla merchandise .
Seriously Good WiFi
Our WiFi includes high-speed unlimited data, and is accessible anywhere on site. Ignore it for a truly disconnected holiday or work a nine to five from your trailer. Either way, we’re not judging.
